About ECE
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi was formed and registered in June 2000. ITA's primary focus is comprehensive education reform beginning with public sector schools which are in a state of sub-optimal performance. It also works with other sectors of basic education in non-formal and literacy programs for the disadvantaged groups such as child labor, destitute, women and youth. ITA works in a sector wide approach across formal, non-formal education from, ECE up to secondary levels and teacher education, in pre-service, in-service and certification programs. Policy and advocacy are an embedded focus of the organization.

ITA is pleased to share that it has a presence across ECD and ECE from 6 months to 5 years working closely with mothers in community based and school settings:

WHY (ECE) ?
WHY Early Childhood Education (ECE) IS A FOCUS AREA?

"The early years are recognized as a vital stage in children’s physical, linguistic, intellectual and emotional development. ECE refers not only to what is happening within the child, but also to the care that child requires in order to thrive."

Significance of “Early Childhood Education”

Early Childhood Education (ECE) It is widely acknowledged that the effects of what happens during the pre-natal period & during the earliest months and years of a child’s life can last a life time. This is because the kind of early care a child receives from parents, pre-school teachers and caregivers determines how a child learns and relates to school and life in general. It is during early care that a child develops all the key elements of emotional intelligence, confidence, curiosity, purposefulness, self control, connectedness, the capacity to communicate and co-cooperativeness.
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Emotional intelligence is now considered crucial for educational success.
