National Teachers Awards for ECE
ITA’s celebration of World Teachers’ Day on October 5, 2008 was an occasion to launch the Anita Ghulam Ali (AGA-WTD) World Teachers’ Day Award in search of living icons for Quality Education. In 2008 the AGA-WTD Award was dedicated to secondary level science teachers (www.itacec.org). In 2009 the AGA WTD Award was dedicated to the theme of Early Childhood Education (ECE) searching for excellence across Pakistan’s classrooms. This year, 10 ECE practitioners awarded with the national level award for their excellent work in the field of early childhood education. This was supported by various partners.
